Sorry for the lack of recent updates. I’ve had a crazy month or so, but one of the results of this is that I am now officially registered for Survery Of The Music Business at the local community college. I’m beyond stoked, especially since it’s taught by a veteran music industry guy who’s worked at A&M and Arista. I’m really looking forward to picking his brain as much as I can.

Anyway, for my triumphant (or something) return to regular blogging, I thought it only appropriate to post a remix by a friend of mine who also happens to be a very talented DJ. Luke is a high school student by day and DJ Sleuth by night (one half of the DJ Sleuth and DJ JD team) and he recently remixed Chromeo’s She’z In Control.

You may think you know Chromeo, but you haven’t heard Chromeo until it’s remixed by DJ Sleuth. Not only in the remix totally sick, but it’s out of control danceable. I reccomend playing this at any and all parties if you wanna get people to bust a move.
