I had totally forgotten about this, but I took a video at the Dashboard solo show. This is Chris Carrabba doing “The Swiss Army Romance” and then segueing into Say Anything’s “Wow, I Can Get Sexual, Too.” Probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Although, as segues go, so far nothing can top Prince going into the Foo Fighter’s “Best Of You” at the Superbowl Half-Time. I was super stoked on it, and I actually have the audio (so I can re-live it over and over again), thanks to my dad’s talent for scouring obscure music blogs much like this one.

The quality of the video is far from good; this is just off my little digital camera. But you can hear the song, and I think it’s pretty fun. “The Swiss Army Romance” is my all time favorite Dashboard Confessional song, and it’s one of my favorite songs, period. I put it on almost every mix CD I make. I think it really showcases Carrabba’s talent for putting emotion into his songs without being heavy at all. It’s crazy what a little acoustic guitar can do.
